Just driving along in my automobile. Just like the song goes. These beauties were screaming “COME GET ME!” so I whipped my car around and without hesitation scooped them up and in the car they went! Oh I have plans for these!
The awesome metal cabinet is just starting to rust a bit. But what is so cool is the shape, the door and a hinged lid! I haven’t seen something like this and just thought it needed to be saved.
What I really love most of all is that magazine ashtray stand. I think I will paint this black or white, can’t decide. Imagine it on top of a table with a small flower arrangement or plant in the ashtray part and plates on one side with napkins and silverware on the other. What a fun entertaining piece. The possibilities are endless.
I was disappointed that I had to leave behind a 7 drawer desk that needed painting and new hardware. Seems like you always find some good stuff when you have no room!
